Clinical Care Pharmacy now offers FREE regular newsletters and training for all care homes to whom it provides dispensing services.

The medicines management team provide regular newsletter to care home staff to enable them to be kept up to date and in touch with the latest developments in the health & social care sector.
Snippets of info are provided from CQC, DoH and RPSGB to ensure all members of the team are aware of all the latest issue. The team at Clinical Care Pharmacy work to ensure the information in the newsletters is relevant, practical and easy to read to ensure the care home staff members make the best use of their time.
As well as providing news, the newsletters are a platform for showing all homes the best practice examples in each issue to help staff deal with a range of differing scenarios.
The medicines management team at Clinical Care Pharmacy also work to ensure that real life issue that have arisen in practice are brought to the forefront of learning experience for the wider network of care homes, ensuring all homes learn from questions or issues posed by a few.
Training
Clinical Care Pharmacy has a commitment to training and development engrained in its ethos. This is one of the main reasons we have sought to provide all of our care homes with free training to care staff. We understand that well trained staff are key to ensuring all residents receive the best health outcomes.
Our training programs are designed and run by pharmacists with the emphasis upon ensuring key learning outcomes are instilled in staff by the end of each session.
We currently offer medicines management training and support system training. Both of these packages are designed to help new and older members of the team to gain the best standards in medicines legislation, administration and organisation amongst other outcomes.
