Cough Nurse Night Time Liquid

Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over: Take 20 ml (equivalent to four 5 ml spoonfuls) just before going to bed. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. You should make sure that you carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.

 

 

Ingredients:

 

Each 20 ml dose contains Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 50 mg and Pholcodine 15 mg as the active ingredients. The liquid also contains purified water, sucrose, glycerol, alcohol (4.8%), sodium citrate, citric acid, sodium benzoate (E 211), hydroxyethylcellulose, colours quinoline yellow (E 104) and patent blue v (E 131), flavours (grenadine, tingle) containing propylene glycol.

 

 

Warning:

 

Do not take Cough Nurse Night Time Liquid if: you are allergic to any of the ingredients, you are pregnant or breast feeding or you are taking other cough products or sleep aids. Talk to your doctor first if: you are under the care of your doctor or receiving prescribed medicines. This medicine may enhance the effects of some drugs e.g. atropine (used for diarrhoea and in eye drops), tricyclic antidepressants, your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars. Cough Nurse Night Time Liquid may cause drowsiness, but as the product is intended to be taken only at bedtime, this shouldn't be a problem. However, if you are affected, you should not drive or operate machinery. Read the enclosed instructions carefully before use.
